Celebrity Self Defence

Recently we were contacted by a well know celebrity requesting us to help her with possible crisis management, due to untrue  rumours  that where circulating  in the popular press.

This gave me the idea of writing a small book called ‘Celebrity Self  Defence’ by Steve Grayson.

Here is a sample chapter from the book:-

Don’t Imagine for one minute that your safe and it won’t happen to you!

If you’re one of those people who think you’ve got nothing to worry about because you behave well, have no guilty secrets, have nothing to be ashamed of and don’t do drugs, think again! Nobody is untouchable.  You can be completely innocent and still your reputation could be sullied.  If a tabloid is targeting you (and initially, you probably won’t even know it’s happening) they won’t miss a trick.  It doesn’t have to be about what you’ve done, but what it looks like you’ve done or are doing.  It doesn’t have to be about what you meant when you said something, but what is sounds like you could have meant when your words are taken out of context or used in such a way as to imply another meaning.

I don’t mince my words and I don’t mind telling you that I’m passionaately for common sense and against stupidity!  But what looks like stupidity is often just not knowing what to look out for.  There is a lot that celebrities and otherwise highprofile people could do and should have been doing to defend their good name, and it’s not recket science.  As you’ll see, the first line of defence is, essentially, waking up to reality, being alert and being aware.

So if you are a celebrity of any kind be it a musician, a model, an actor, sports personality,  presenter, high profile for some  other reason, or just a wanna be you owe it to yourself to read this little book, use the advice and information it contains, and save yourself  from the wrong kind of publicity/attention.
